What would it be like without the movies? I grew up in a city of 100,000 and eight theatres. There was the Uptown, Auditorium, Waldorf, Warner, Olympia, Capitol and Paramount theatres. They all showed double features, serials and cartoons. Because of malls, now there are none. “Bijou”, synonym for those theatres.
